You may have noticed a cacophony of birdsong in the wee hours of the morning. Scientists call this the dawn chorus. Birds can sing at any time of day, but during the dawn chorus their songs are often louder, livelier, and more frequent. However, one day I noticed that as it got closer to the sun actually rising the singing was diminishing. I also noted that the birds were setting on tree branches facing the sunrise.

Very few religions are against science, particularly the medical field, though a few are. A picture on the N.Y. Times cover is seared into a police officer’s mind. Later he finds a local ghetto artist who’s drawn the identical picture. Down the road he’s telling someone the story and finds out who the special man in the picture is which leads to a prayer he still relies on. Seems the Lord put me in the just right spot because I wound up with a man who had a great impact on me. I saw just how small my problems were and witnessed genuine humility and grace through the person I sat with. It amazes me that when how quickly my Creator can help me from sadness to gratitude when it’s needed.
